In a surprising crossover event that challenges usual expectations, the game developer has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal release, "A strange encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of forbidden practices and terrifying transformations reverberate through the shadows." The plot presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret group.
The questline focuses on "strange experiments and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Changes
The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations.
